What a Picnic! How Felgenhauer Celebrated 30 Years in Poland!

This was no ordinary picnic. Concerts, a red carpet, and over 2,300 guests—all to celebrate 30 years of Felgenhauer in Poland. There was time for reminiscing, discussions about the future, and, most importantly, shared fun.

Full Organization

On June 2, all roads led to Tarnopolska 12 in Jasień. Parking lots quickly filled up with cars, and rented buses transported guests from Zielona Góra, Żary, Lubsko, and Jasień. Everything was arranged so that each invited participant could arrive stress-free. Not even the unpredictable weather—which caused last-minute adjustments two days before the event—dampened the mood.

Quick Change of Plans

The original plan was for an outdoor picnic, but as Sunday approached, rain became more likely in the forecasts. Action had to be taken! Just hours before the event, a decision was made to move the stage indoors, which required additional walkways to be built. It was a lot of work, but the satisfaction was even greater.

One Team

It was a true “white party.” 2,300 guests dressed in white walked the red carpet leading to the Felgenhauer hall. Along the way, guests could stop for a commemorative photo at a backdrop or proceed directly to the venue, which quickly filled with delicious food and an even better atmosphere.

A Real Feast

No picnic is complete without great food. Catering was provided by the exceptional Jefferson’s, featuring grilled dishes, traditional Polish and Indian cuisine, salads, and a food truck serving fries. Even the pickiest eaters—especially the children—had nothing to complain about, as they eagerly lined up for extra servings of ice cream.

Time for Fun!

A comfortable toddler corner was set up with dedicated entertainers. The biggest attractions, however, were the giant inflatable slides, which many parents would have gladly tried if they had the time! Older kids and adults were also treated to numerous sports and multimedia activities.

Three Generations on One Stage

No anniversary celebration would be complete without the people at the heart of Felgenhauer. Founder Ewald Felgenhauer, the youngest generation’s representative Konstantin Felgenhauer, and CEO Wolfgang Felgenhauer took the stage. Tomasz Kret (CFO) presented Wolfgang with a commemorative plaque marking this milestone.

“I am proud to be part of a family business. And I am proud to stand on this stage today alongside my grandfather and father to celebrate together.”

–  Konstantin Felgenhauer

Special Guests

The most treasured memories come from those who witness an event firsthand. Among the distinguished guests were Ryszard Buczek, a longtime friend and business partner of Felgenhauer’s founder, Małgorzata Mos, who played a key role in relocating the company from Hagen, Germany, and Helena Sagasz, mayor of Jasień during Felgenhauer’s early years in Poland. Many others, including those actively supporting the company’s continued growth, attended the celebration—among them, the Stal Jasień football team, whose matches are a frequent topic of conversation in town.

Recognitions and Gratitude

The picnic was also the perfect opportunity to express gratitude to employees and present symbolic gifts to those with the longest tenure. It’s incredible to think that some employees have been with the company for over 20 years! Special recognition was given to the well-known HR representative Jolanta Ptak and Kacper Sidorowicz, who has been indispensable in the production department for 22 years.

Star Performances of the Evening

After the official part, the real fun began! Polish music stars took the stage, bringing back the hits that dominated the charts in Felgenhauer’s early years in Poland. Norbi, Bartek Wrona, and K.A.S.A. performed their biggest songs, filling the air with energy and dance.

To Wrap It Up

Once the dance floor was warmed up, Awiński Show took over, keeping the party alive. But all good things must come to an end, and so did the Felgenhauer picnic. Before everyone headed home, an extraordinary laser show closed the night—an unforgettable highlight.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone. We appreciate the congratulations, the kind words, and all the support. With your help, Felgenhauer’s story continues to be written—just as it has been for the past 30 years.
